Webster: A Favorite Texan Suburb
Webster is a city in Texas located in Harris County. It is within the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metropolitan area. Webster is a small city in terms of square mileage—it is only 6.7 miles. However, it is mighty in terms of its community vibrancy, being home to more than 2,200 businesses. Webster was incorporated in 1958, shortly before NASA announced that it would build the Johnson Space Center in 1961. Naturally, NASA served as a catalyst in the growth of the city of Webster. Two of Webster’s growth industries have always been the aerospace and medical fields. Webster’s medical center accommodates a service area population exceeding more than 1,800,000 patients annually. Outside of business, Webster includes many fun activities for family: try out the go-karts at Formula Racing Center, golf a round at Topgolf Webster, or put on your bowling shoes at AMF Alpha Lanes. As you can see, Webster provides you with everything you could possibly need from ample job security with its flourishing industry to hours of family entertainment. And of course, if you tire of the tranquility of small town life, Houston is a mere 30 minutes away with the promise of big city entertainment, activities, and amenities.
